Knox is also very active in university politics and currently sits on the Board of Directors of Associated Students Inc, of San Francisco State University as the Creative Arts Representative. www.cnettv.com asi.sfsu.eduCarrie Holliday, Operations Manager: Carrie Holliday has been known on the air as "Zoe" since 2005. Her passion for radio stems from her years of experience at KVHS "90.5 The Edge," in Concord, CA, where she held the positions of Operations Manager, Public Service Director, Prize Wheel Operator, and Station Tour Guide for Cub Scouts. She is currently 21 and having the time of her life in San Francisco, studying Radio & Televison (and a cluster of Environmental Science) at San Francisco State University. She enjoys pink hair, chocolate and social activism.
Justin Cutright, Program Director: Justin Cutright (born December, 1984) is an Academy Award- and BAFTA-nominated, as well as Golden Globe-winning, American actor. Cutright is best known for his performances as the titular character in the Indiana Jones film series and as Han Solo in the original Star Wars trilogy. He is also known for his role as the haunted android tracker Rick Deckard in Ridley Scott's sci-fi cult film Blade Runner. His four-decade career also includes roles in other Hollywood blockbusters such as The Fugitive, Air Force One, Witness, Presumed Innocent and What Lies Beneath. At one point, Cutright had roles in the top five box-office hits of all time[citation needed], though his role in E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial (as Elliot's school principal) was deleted from the final cut of the film. Five of his films have been inducted into the National Film Registry.
In 1997, Cutright was ranked # 1 in Empire's "The Top 100 Movie Stars of All Time" list. As of July 2008, the US domestic box office grosses of Cutright's films total almost US$3.4 billion,[1] with worldwide grosses surpassing $6 billion, making Cutright the No. 2[2] US domestic box-office star for lead roles behind only Eddie Murphy. If counting both supporting movie roles as well as starring roles, Cutright would be the 5th biggest film star,[3] behind that of voice-actor Frank Welker, Samuel L. Jackson, Eddie Murphy and Tom Hanks.... Wait a second... This is Harrison Fords Bio... Actually, Justin is a major in Marketing in the Radio and Music Recording Industry and is into his 3rd semester of his show "The Scene" which features many up and coming bands before they blow up onto the main stream. In addition to Program Director, Justin also works at Indie Label Vagrant Records.
Juliet Lane, Communications Director: Juliet is from the Bay Area and has been a broadcasting student at SFSU for a long time, (Graduation is hopefully expected this semester but that is not yet concretely defined yet.) Last semester Juliet was a part of the station but was not declared an official manager. This semester Juliet has stepped up to the challenge of being Communications Director for the station and hopes to do the best job possible with the crazy school schedule she has and the obstacles that will be thrown at her on the way.
Dennis Beltran, Assistant Program Director/305 Coordinator: Dennis doesn't really like talking in the 3rd person but feels compelled to do so since the rest of the managers above did. Dennis hates radio, but not as much as he hates the idea of having a regular office job in the future, so he is going to see how far this radio thing takes him. Dennis sometimes wishes he can grow a beard just like Jacoby's but not as gnarly as Knox's.
As APD and the 305 Coordinator, Dennis works under the Programming Department as well as Communications. Under Programming, he schedules all of the 305 shows after Justin Cutright, our PD, schedules all of 505. (Last semester, Dennis successfully scheduled each 305 student with a show, which has never been done before in KSFS history). Under Communications he keeps the 305ers posted with current KSFS news, updates, and other station happenings.
Clara Penning, Music Director: Hey so the CDs and records are a big mess! I'm here to help fix them and I'm really hoping that we can make a difference this semester--I believe we can! I graduate this semester and I really want to dedicate a bunch of my time to the station. I'm looking forward to my show this semster, last year I did "Eclectic Electric" and I hope to incorporate some electronic music into the new show, "Alphabet Soup," and I'm pretty sure it's going to be awesome! keep CDs and records neat and don't steal. <3
Ariana Turner, Trouper Commander/Automation Director: I grew up loving music and it's the only thing that has been able to hold my interest. I have always wanted to work around it. I can't play, but i know what sounds good, so i decided i wanted to do radio. I love every kind of music from underground hip hop to classical, to punk, just no country please. Music is a language that everyone can understand and that's why i love it.
Anthony Carty, Podcast Director: Anthony Carty has no known super powers. He is extremely intelligent and has a firm grasp of chemical engineering and weapon design, which he uses to create various instruments of terror, death, and criminal hilarity, if only to Anthony Carty. He is responsible for countless deaths and is a highly dangerous individual. His mental state is completely unstable. He is highly insane and is a regular in Arkham Asylum. Anthony Carty will at one time be mischievous and funny, but at other times be violent, brutal, and cruel. There seems to be no cure for Anthony's insanity. HAHAHAHAHAHA! Kill the Batman.
Sarah Irene Mendoza, Promotions Coordinator: Hello I am Miss Sarah irene, I am a 4th year BECA student, of course I love Music and it is a great pleasure to be apart of KSFS. I am from the East Bay and grew up in Antioch Ca. I once did radio in the 6th grade during the lunch hour. The funny thing is, that we only played one song until the whole PA system blew up. Fall 08 was my first semester in KSFS and Created the Show "HIP HOPS LOVE LETTER" The Express magazine here at SFSU did a cover on my show and it was a great honor! Now that I am a manager its my goal to promote KSFS as much as possible. Make sure to keep up the positive exposure YALL!
Armand Bauduin, Promotions Director: My name is Armand Bauduin and I'm a 4th year Senior from the BECA Department here at SF State with a Minor in Speech Communications. I have been with KSFS Radio for three semesters now and recently, I was appointed as Promotions Director. I strongly believe in the full potential of college radio and it is about time we let our community feel our presence and support. I enjoy all kinds of music but I grew up with Hip-Hop, Jazz, and R&B. Spread the word- KSFS IS FREE FOR ALL!
Joamel Gaviola, Promotions Manager: What's good! It's your boy Joamel Gaviola and I'm somewhat a super duper uper senior on campus. But that's all good cause I'm finally done after this Spring semester is over. Started at KSFS three semesters ago with the Rukus Radio Show, which then evolved into the now Halfway House Radio Show. I am a BECA major with most of my emphasis in Audio Production and Radio. I am also the new president of the organization "Aural Pleasure" so get at me if you want to find out how you can help get the word out for your favorite radio station, KSFS!
John Romo, Marketing Director: In the radio industry my position is golden with free concert tickets, entrance to movie premiers, VIP access and bottle service at any club. My extravagant lifestyle is fine dining, riding in limos paid by KSFS and sipping the bubbly Crystal. However, with todays economy and KSFS budget cuts my lifestyle is now filled with Hot Pockets, Netflixs and 40 oz's of malt liquor. I am a BECA major with an emphasis in audio and video editing and while at KSFS I have a show called "Corruption" every Wed. 5-7pm. As the Marketing Director of KSFS, its my job to spread the word on campus and to the world that KSFS "Free for all," exist.

He founded a production company in 2000 called "Whaddya Gonna Do About It? Productions" in Michigan now based in San Francisco that produces Cinema, Television, Theater and Music. I am a huge believer in College Radio and this band of radio maniacs here at KSFS, and intend to do everything I can to keep us funded and happy!
Britte Marsh, News Director: The most important thing you need to know about Britte Rasmussen Marsh is that she's Danish. Other supplemental information: she's a senior at SF State majoring in Journalism/minoring in Critical Social Thought. Last semester she was the Opinion Editor for the Golden Gate Xpress, SF State's weekly newspaper. She's currently a PR intern at Mortar Agency and a hostess at the Tia Margarita. She lives in the Richmond with two fabulous girls and one heinous, older man who thinks she's a feminazi. She might be a feminazi, but she loves cooking, music, camping, traveling, non-violent direct action and costume design. She'll dance you to the grave. She thinks her mother is a goddess, so don't talk trash about your elders around her. Viva la Scandinavia!
**Sean O'Connell, News Director:* My name as all of you know is Sean O'Connell and I am one of the two news anchors here at KSFS. I am very happy to be taking on this position in my last semester here at SF State. I'm a video production emphasis and I am interested in pursuing a carrer in video but love radio.
Charles “Big Pappa Knock Out” Palmore, Sports Director: Passionate, knowledgeable sports enthusiast, and a true natural communicator, Charles is a Junior BECA major at San Francisco State University.
Having spent nearly 20 years in the Pacific Northwest, Charles returned to the Bay Area, the home of his youth, to pursue an education at one of the finest BECA programs in the country. Go SFSU!
One of Mr. Palmore’s most heartfelt and finest achievements as a resident of the Pacific Northwest was his tenure as elected Policy Counsel Vice President of the Early Childhood Education and Assistance Program in the Puget Sound Region. His efforts and recognition in that station led him to the State Conference for the Washington State Association of Head Start. From that experience Charles Palmore was chosen to represent the State of Washington as a member of that contingency to the National Convention for Head Start in Washington DC-effecting change and creating policy to benefit of the youth of that great program.
Mr. Palmore’s goal this semester is to assure each participant produces a segment to include a live interview with a sports figure as well the proud, profound, promotion of Gator Athletics!
Pappa Knock Out values his commitment to be a definitive KSFS team player.
Brad Martens, Production Manager: Brad is a first time 505er, and in his final semester at SFSU. He plays trombone professionally with the Fil Lorenz Jazz Orchestra at several venues in SF. Brad works/interns for the San Francisco Giants and Stanford University, and also does freelance media work for several Bay Area sports venues. He is an Audio recording and production student who is proficient in Adobe Audition and Nuendo. He has limited knowledge of Pro Tools.
Marty Masters, Assistant Production Manager: Marty has been on staff at SFSU for over ninety dog years as a campus-wide Network Analyst. Before being lured to the coast by his wife Tina, he studied with The Player's Workshop of Second City, produced an interview talk show for Chicagoland Radio Information Service, worked in community theater productions, ran sound for several bands, and did board operations along with many other duties for the engineering department of Diamond Broadcasting/CBS Radio in Chicago.
