KSFS Certification Checklist
___*Did the programmer sign-in?
___*Did the programmer log the music being played?
___*Did the programmer write down any equipment malfunctions in the discrepancy report sheet if any?
___*Did the programmer properly set up a CD to record?
___*Record 5 seconds of dead air. (For the sake of art!)
___*Fade up a CD (preferably a song not talking) and play it for 10 - 20 seconds.
___*Fade out CD into Legal ID: i.e. "THIS IS KSFS RADIO FREE FOR ALL, COMING OUT OF SAN FRANCISCO STATE UNIVERSITY. YOU'RE LISTENING TO KSFS DOT SFSU DOT EDU."
___*Perform any vocal segway then go into a song from the PC (from YouTube or iTunes) and play it for 10 - 20 secs.
___*Perform either fade or dead switch to at least two more inputs i.e. iPod, CD to CD, turntables, PC.
___*Go into a phone call.
___*Use mic 2 or 3 along with anchor mic and demonstrate 10 - 20 secs. with multiple mics in use (could be done also during phone call)
___*Perform an outro (either vocal or song)
___*Demostrate how to stop recording CD and finalize.
